Here is a list of things you should start to become familiar with, when you are ready to hire your entertainment company.   While there are many things to think about, this will help you start your list.   Name, address and phone number of facility that your party is at. How many people are you expecting to attend? What kind of music do you want for the reception? Are you getting married at this facility and will you need music for the ceremony? Is there a cocktail hour, will you need music for it, if yes, what kind of music? Is your cocktail hour in the same room as the reception? What are the times of the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception? Will you require a light show? Will you require a smoking effect for the light show? Will you require “giveaways”? (see our “Party Store”) Will you require Video Simulcasting Plasma Screen TV’s? Will you require multiple motivators besides your MC? Do you have throw-away cameras at each table for your guests to use? Are the centerpieces on the table yours to give away to your guests? Are there special songs that need to be played? Will there be any speeches? How much time does your DJ company need to set up before the party? Who is the guest of honor? What room is your party in at this facility? (most have more than one) Do you want a laser light show for that club like feeling at your party?
